Marco Rubio Exposes Communist China Jailing Christians

The liberal media doesn’t want to cover this story.

They are going to have to now.

And Marco Rubio pressed the panic button over this country declaring war on Christians.

As American Media Watch Dog reports:

The Chinese Communist Party has been persecuting Christians for a very long time, as they are supporters of state atheism just like so many other Marxist regimes throughout history.

While they “tolerate” the existence of Christians within their borders, they expect churches to be fiercely loyal to the Communist Party and to avoid speaking on things party leaders disapprove of.

This has led to the brutal mistreatment of people in China who follow Christianity in the truest sense, putting God above party.

But this persecution often has not made the news, as mainstream outlets prefer to focus on other things.

Marco Rubio, however, is not allowing it to be swept under the rug.

Rubio has been outspoken about his Catholic faith and he is not about to let the Chinese Communist Party get away with this.

He is exposing the imprisonment of Christians in China, and the Chinese government is not happy about what he has had to say.

According to Bloomberg, “China hit back at the US for what it called interference in its domestic affairs, after Secretary of State Marco Rubio condemned Beijing’s recent detention of church leaders.”

“The comments came after Rubio criticized the ruling Chinese Communist Party for detaining dozens of leaders of the unregistered Zion Church.”

This is not the only example of Christians being put in prison in China, as Hong Kong businessman Jimmy Lai, also a Catholic, has been awaiting trial for speaking out against the government.

This Zion Church has not “registered” with the government, meaning they have not pledged fealty to party leaders like so many others in China have been forced to.

Here is what the Chinese government had to say in response to Rubio: “The Chinese government governs religious affairs in accordance with law, protects the religious freedom of the citizens and the normal religious activities. We firmly oppose the US interfering in China’s internal affairs with the so-called religious issues.”

The article continues, “Officially atheist, the Communist Party has long kept a tight leash on religious groups, wary of their ability to galvanize the masses. During a recent visit to Tibet, Chinese President Xi Jinping stressed the need to continue the ‘Sinicization’ of religion, a program that integrates beliefs and customs with Chinese culture and political ideology.”

The Chinese Communist Party expects its leaders to be placed in the position of God by its citizens, with people in China being forced to put their country’s leaders above any religious authority.

This has created an untenable situation for Christians in China whose faith asks them to do the exact opposite.

Unfortunately, it is leading to awful persecutions of Christians, and that shows no sign of ending any time soon.

Thankfully Marco Rubio is refusing to be silent about this injustice and he is making sure it gets covered in the mainstream press.
