Former White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre couldn’t believe the corner she found herself boxed into.
Jean-Pierre had never experienced anything like it before.
And Karine Jean-Pierre felt like she got hit by a truck after this brutal ambush.
As American Media Watch Dog reports:
There hasn’t been a political book tour in recent memory that’s been more cringeworthy than Karin Jean-Pierre’s promotional efforts to sell her memoir, “Independent.”
In the book, Jean-Pierre recounts her decision to quit the Democratic Party over her claims that leaders mistreated Joe Biden by forcing him to quit the 2024 Presidential Election when they could no longer conceal his senility from the voters.
The media views Jean-Pierre as one of the handlers who bullied them into pretending Joe Biden was capable of serving four more years as President.
Many in the press now fault Biden’s handlers for costing Democrats the election and Trump returning to the White House.
Even MSNBC raked Jean-Pierre over the coals during an interview to promote her book.
c asked Jean-Pierre if she owed special counsel Robert Hur an apology for attacking Hu’s conclusion that he couldn’t win a conviction against Biden for stealing classified documents because a jury would see Biden as an “elderly man with a poor memory.”
“Robert Hur was unemployable for a period because of the attacks from the Democrats and from the White House that you were at the podium leading,” Jordan stated. “Have you apologized to Robert Hur?”
Jean-Pierre was caught totally off guard and stammered her way through a nonsensical answer.
“I mean…look… what I can say to you is, I saw the president every single day. It wasn’t one-offs, it wasn’t once in a while, I saw him every day,” Jean-Pierre replied.
Jean-Pierre once demanded that reporters call videos of Biden acting senile “cheap fakes.”
The former White House press secretary defended her claims that Biden was with it mentally by telling Jordan she supposedly never saw Biden’s mental decline.
“I was called into the Oval Office on a daily basis. I traveled with him for 95% of the time,” Jean-Pierre added. “And so, I’m speaking for myself here. I’m speaking for what I saw, and that was why I pushed back.”
Co-host Ayman Mohyeldin asked Jean-Pierre if she had any regrets about her time as press secretary, giving Jean-Pierre a chance to try and save face by coming clean about Biden.
Instead, Jean-Pierre doubled down on identity politics and declared that “as a black woman who is queer,” she was “very proud” of her time as the public face of the Biden administration.
MSNBC wasn’t the only liberal media outlet treating Jean-Pierre’s book like a joke.
The Washington Post mocked Jean-Pierre as a relic of the era of woke resistance that voters ushered into the dustbin of history with Trump’s landslide 2024 election win.
“Unsurprisingly, “Independent” is a fascinating book for all the wrong reasons. It was dated before it arrived at the printers, perhaps before it was even written; no doubt it will be studied by the historians and anthropologists of the future. Jean-Pierre is an artifact of an age that looks recent on paper but feels prehistoric in practice — the age of pantsuits, the word “empowerment,” the musical “Hamilton,” the cheap therapeutic entreaties to “work on yourself” and “lean in” to various corporate abysses. “Independent” is written in the outmoded register of one of those lawn signs proclaiming that “in this house, we believe kindness is everything,” which have been firmly planted, to no tangible electoral effect, since 2016,” the Post’s Becca Rothfeld wrote.
Members of the media torched their credibility by going along with Jean-Pierre’s “cheap fakes” falsehood.
These so-called “journalists” are now taking their anger out on Jean-Pierre by trashing her book
