The liberal media and Democrat Party went on the attack.

And Kash Patel came out swinging after this criminal indictment.

FBI Director Kash Patel told Americans that Comey’s indictment represented accountability from bad actors who weaponized law enforcement to attack democracy by scheming to derail Donald Trump’s Presidency.
“Today, your FBI took another step in its promise of full accountability. For far too long, previous corrupt leadership and their enablers weaponized federal law enforcement, damaging once proud institutions and severely eroding public trust,” Patel wrote on X.
Patel assured Americans the Trump administration was working to restore trust in institutions like the FBI.
And Patel stated that consequences for the coup attempt against Trump by the FBI in the Russia collusion hoax would help mend the bureau’s credibility gap.
“Every day, we continue the fight to earn that trust back, and under my leadership, this FBI will confront the problem head-on. Nowhere was this politicization of law enforcement more blatant than during the Russiagate hoax, a disgraceful chapter in history we continue to investigate and expose,” Patel added.
Patel went on to write that Comey’s status as a swamp elite couldn’t protect him.
“Everyone, especially those in positions of power, will be held to account – no matter their perch,” Patel continued.
Patel then finished with a saying the Democrats loved to utter when their prosecutors were indicting Trump for fake crimes they had to invent by bending the law.
“No one is above the law,” Patel concluded.
Congresswoman Yassamin Ansari (D-AZ) epitomized the hysteria on the left.
In a post on social media, Ansari compared Comey’s arrest to an act of repression from her native Iran.
“My parents fled an authoritarian regime. My family’s seen this playbook before, which is why I haven’t been mincing my words about it. Trump fired a career prosecutor & installed his fixer to bring about bullshit charges against his political enemies. This is how democracies die,” Ansari ranted in X.
Patel shattered the left’s lies about the Comey indictment by informing Americans that career personnel, and not Trump appointees, led the investigation that resulted in Comey’s indictment.
“Career FBI agents, intel analysts, and staff led the investigation into Comey and others. They called the balls and strikes and will continue to do so,” Patel posted on X.
Patel slammed Democrats and the media for lying about the FBI being Trump’s secret police.
The FBI Director mocked Democrats and journalists’ complaints that Trump weaponized the FBI to target a political foe as “hypocrisy on steroids since they were the same people who fed Americans lies about Trump colluding with Russia.
“The wildly false accusations attacking this FBI for the politicization of law enforcement come from the same bankrupt media that sold the world on Russia Gate- it’s hypocrisy on steroids. Their baseless objections tell us now, more than ever, that we are precisely over the target and will remain on mission until completion,” Patel summed up.
