And Kamala Harris learned very bad news in this pivotal 2024 battleground state.
Democrats and the media hoped that Kamala Harris could “blue wall” states like Michigan away.
But as the campaign reaches the end game, Democrats are panicked that Michigan is trending away from them.
A Mitchell Research poll – a highly-respected instate pollster – put out a new survey showing Trump leading Kamala Harris in Michigan.

The internal Democrat campaign polls are just as concerning.
Michigan Democrat Senate candidate Elissa Slotkin told donors that her polling showed Kamala Harris was “underwater” in Michigan.
“I’m not feeling my best right now about where we are on Kamala Harris in a place like Michigan,” Slotkin said at a fundraiser. “We have her underwater in our polling.”
The Democrat panic over Michigan is owed to Trump’s campaign hammering Kamala Harris with ads over her scheme to destroy the American auto industry by banning gas powered cars and forcing all Americans to drive electric vehicles.
“Crazy but true,” the ad states. “Harris’s push requiring electric-only is failing big and Michigan auto workers are paying the price.”

Slotkin is now running ads claiming she won’t support banning gas powered cars.
Kamala Harris is also desperately trying to get voters to believe she won’t ban their gas powered cars and force them to drive an expensive and inefficient electric vehicle.
“Michigan, let us be clear: Contrary to what my opponent is suggesting, I will never tell you what kind of car you have to drive,” the Vice President said.
But Kamala Harris supports banning gas powered cars and forcing Americans into electric vehicles.
As a Senator, Kamala Harris introduced the Zero-Emission Vehicles Act of 2019 which allows the government to ban all gas-powered cars by 2024.
“After model year 2040, the [Environmental Protection Agency] Administrator may issue an injunction on the manufacture of any passenger vehicles other than zero emission vehicles by a vehicle manufacturer,’’ the bill reads.
The Kamala Harris-Biden administration also imposed new tailpipe emission standards that effectively banned gas powered cars by 2030 through regulations that made them too expensive to produce and therefore too expensive to buy.
These new rules will force at least 70 percent of cars to be electric by 2030.
“Nearly three years in the making, the new tailpipe pollution limits from the Environmental Protection Agency would transform the American automobile market. A record 1.2 million electric vehicles rolled off dealers’ lots last year, but they made up just 7.6 percent of total U.S. car sales, far from the 56 percent target under the new regulation. An additional 16 percent of new cars sold would be hybrids,” the New York Times reports.
Kamala Harris’ support for banning gas-powered cars now has Democrats in a panic that it may cost her the election.
