Donald Trump received some bad news.
It will change everything for the worse.
And that’s because Alvin Bragg got a judge to agree to one scary demand that hurt Donald Trump.
Democrat Judge Juan Merchan – who donated to Joe Biden’s Presidential campaign in 2020 – expanded his unconstitutional gag order restricting Donald Trump’s political speech.
Trump is the GOP nominee for President and now a partisan Democrat prosecutor and judge have put themselves in charge of determining what Trump is allowed to say – and how he can defend himself – in this case.
Merchan glommed onto the falsehood the Democrats have used to underpin their attacks on Trump’s campaign by falsely claiming Trump’s words incite violence among his supporters.
“The average observer, must now, after hearing Defendant’s recent attacks, draw the conclusion that if they become involved in these proceedings, even tangentially, they should worry not only for themselves, but for their loved ones as well,” Merchan’s opinion read. “Such concerns will undoubtedly interfere with the fair administration of justice and constitute a direct attack on the Rule of Law itself.”
“Again, all citizens, called upon to participate in these proceedings, whether as a juror, a witness, or in some other capacity, must now concern themselves not only with their own personal safety but with the safety and the potential for personal attacks upon their loved ones. That reality cannot be overstated,” Merchan continued.
Merchan imposed the expanded gag order after Trump called on Merchan to recuse himself from the case political bias regarding Merchan’s 34-year-old daughter who held a high level position at a political consulting firm that had collected millions in fees from Adam Schiff and other Democrats.
Joe Biden and the Democrats couldn’t have asked for a better political gift – a partisan judge stamping his approval on Joe Biden’s campaign message that Trump is a menace to society.
Trump blasted the expanded gag order in a post on Truth Social, calling it an obscene act of election interference as it applied to political enemies (like former lawyer Michael Cohen) who were set to testify at the trial and could freely smear Trump as a corrupt criminal unfit for the White House while forcing Trump to remain silent on the campaign trail.
“I just was informed that another corrupt New York Judge, Juan Merchan, GAGGED me so that I can not talk about the corruption and conflicts taking place in his courtroom with respect to a case that everyone, including the D.A., felt should never have been brought. They can talk about me, but I can’t talk about them??? That sounds fair, doesn’t it? This Judge should be recused, and the case should be thrown out. There has virtually never been a more conflicted judge than this one. ELECTION INTERFERENCE at its worst!” Trump wrote.
