Every time Joe Biden speaks in public, it seems that he hurts himself and his campaign even more than he already has.
He has always had a hard time keeping his mouth shut and avoiding costly gaffes, and that habit has gotten significantly worse as he has aged.
Now he has had perhaps his most damaging gaffe yet, and it’s something that surely caused his staff and administration officials to hit the panic button.
Biden got up in front of a crowd and admitted that his opponent, Donald Trump, has proven that Biden and his administration “can’t be trusted.”
When his campaign team heard this, they must have been tempted to simply quit on the spot. How can anyone come back from a gaffe like that?
This incredibly damaging quote from Biden will almost certainly be replayed in every campaign ad against him for the rest of 2024.
According to Fox News, “President Biden’s latest gaffe had conservative commentators admitting that they agree with him.”
“Biden spoke at a Tampa campaign rally on Tuesday that focused on the state’s six-week abortion ban that is set to go into effect on May 1. During the rally, he made several references to former President Donald Trump as an opponent of abortion rights for women.”
“However, during his comments, Biden made what many considered to be an embarrassing mistake.”
Here is what Biden said: “I don’t know why we’re surprised by Trump. How many times does he have to prove we can’t be trusted?”
Many people immediately leaped in and pointed out that they agree with Biden. Trump most certainly has proven that Biden can’t be trusted.
Even the people in the crowd seemed to notice what Biden had said, but Biden himself was clueless about the mistake he had just made.

Biden’s weary campaign staff will surely try to put the metaphorical toothpaste back in the tube to fix this disaster, but there’s probably not much they can do at this point.
Biden admitted that everything Trump has said about him is correct, and it’s going to be hard for him to win votes after acknowledging that.
Now Trump is licking his chops at his chance to finish off Biden’s campaign and send the president packing. And Biden’s supporters have to be wondering what other gaffes he has up his sleeve between now and the November election.
