Texas Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett admitted something about herself she probably shouldn’t have.
But there was no way for Crockett to hide from this one.
And Jasmine Crockett just beclowned herself in this bone-headed move.
Crockett made a spectacle of herself in a House Judiciary Subcommittee on Oversight regarding the troubled FBI and their past weaponized political conduct.
When it came time for her to speak, Crockett hijacked the hearing to blabber on about her support for DEI.
But Crockett didn’t just whine and moan about President Trump’s executive order banning DEI in government and ordering the Justice Department to investigate DEI policies among the private sector.
Crockett actually hijacked the hearing to brag that DEI was how she landed her first job.
In her remarks, Crockett recounted how she told her first boss that her main qualifications as a public defender was the fact she was black and a woman.
“When I first became a public defender, I had no criminal defense experience. I walked in, and I told my boss, Charlie, I said, ‘Listen, you should hire me.’ He said, ‘Why?’ I said, ‘Because I’m Black.’ Charlie looked at me like I was crazy,” Crockett began.
Crockett went on to tell her boss that DEI would allow her to successfully represent criminal defendants.
“And I said, ‘Let me tell you something. When I walk in, I’m going to walk in with a level of rapport and understanding that maybe some of my other colleagues will not.’ Charlie offered me my job, and I worked my butt off and I worked really, really hard for all of my clients, not just those that look like me. That is what it looks like to serve,” Crockett declared.
Not finished yet, the Texas Congresswoman then actually claimed that DEI was essential to law enforcement administration in America because criminal suspects only identify with law enforcement who are the same race and gender as they are.
“We want somebody to show up, and we don’t want them to look at us and act as if just because I’m Black or because I’m a woman that I am not worthy of having that case investigated,” Crockett added.
“Because we have an administration that is continuously railing against diversity, equity or inclusion or we don’t need people that show up that feel like diversity should not be valued. That is why we should have somebody that may show up and looks like me,” Crockett concluded.
DEI is a racist spoils system that rewards some Americans and punishes others based on their race.
Democrats turned institutions in America woke by creating DEI bureaucracies inside corporate America, academia, Hollywood, professional sports, and the media, where employees were forced to view their work value solely based on whether they contributed to advancing racial and gender equity – or not.
Americans threw up their hands in disgust and re-elected Donald Trump to expel this racist ideology from American society.
Jasmine Crockett stands by DEI 100 percent.
And, as a rising star in the Democrat Party, Crockett’s defense of DEI says Democrats aren’t done drinking from this cup of political poison.
