Ted Cruz has clashed with JD Vance and the MAGA base over a string of major issues this year.
Now Fox Business wants to know his plans.
And Larry Kudlow pushed Ted Cruz on a 2028 run in an exchange that has Trump loyalists on high alert.
As American Patriot Daily reports:
Texas Senator Ted Cruz finished second to Trump in the 2016 GOP Presidential primary.
Cruz is making no secret of the fact that he wants to run for President again in 2028.
And Cruz has been carving out a lane as the Never Trump candidate by opposing President Trump on tariffs, Trump’s negotiations to end the Iran war, Trump’s proposed $5,000 post-election dividend, and FCC investigations into liberal bias in late-night TV.
Cruz also attacked a so-called “rise of anti-Semitism” on the right, a move Vice President JD Vance took exception to as Vance explained Cruz was calling GOP voters a bunch of bigots.
Fox Business Network’s Larry Kudlow pressed Cruz on whether he was running for President in 2028.
“So, Ted Cruz, also running for president,” Kudlow began. “You came in second back in 2016. A lot of people are talking about it. A lot of people are writing. Actually, President Trump commented favorably about your running, said you were a pretty smart guy. Of course you’re a pretty smart guy. So, you gonna make a run?”
Cruz’s answer all but admitted he was planning on declaring his candidacy after the midterm election.
Kudlow then advised Ted Cruz to make his announcement as soon as possible.
“One of the things that President Trump did in the last go-around, right after the midterms, he declared his candidacy,” Kudlow added. “And that had a huge, huge impact. I’m just putting it out there. You might wanna think about it. I mean, right after he did that, a lot of people scratched their heads, and it turns out that was a close outbid. It really was.”
Fox News founder Rupert Murdoch hates Vance.
There is no secret about Murdoch’s loathing of Vance.
Murdoch lobbied Trump to pick anyone other than Vance as his Vice Presidential running mate because Murdoch is a globalist and Vance supports President Trump’s America First agenda.
Vance also opposed the wars in Ukraine and Iran, both of which Murdoch supports and wants to see continue.
Murdoch could also use Fox News programming to push an anti-Vance candidate like Cruz in 2028.
