ESPN Host Stephen A. Smith Rips Bragg’s Decision to Prosecute Trump

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg is looking for a guilty verdict against Donald Trump.

Trump’s fate is now in the jury’s hands.

And Alvin Bragg got a rude awakening that ruined his case against Donald Trump.

As Great American Daily reports:

ESPN host Stephen A. Smith is one of the faces of the biggest sports networks in America.

And Smith is also a vocal Democrat.

But on a recent episode of his podcast, Smith issued some words of warning for Democrats who hoped Bragg securing a guilty verdict against Trump in a rigged show trial would drive a stake through the heart of Trump’s campaign.

“Ladies and gentlemen, this is a disaster,” Smith declared. “Somebody needs to tell y’all, so I’m gonna tell y’all.”

Smith warned Democrats that the sight of Trump on trial in a case where Bragg stretched the law to manufacture criminal charges only validated Trump’s argument that Democrats only indicted him because they were worried they couldn’t beat him at the ballot box.

“To my liberal friends out there, all you’re doing is showing that you’re scared you can’t beat him on the issues and the merits,” Smith added. “That’s why he keeps saying, ‘It’s a political campaign against me.’ That’s why he keeps saying, ‘They can’t beat me at the election, at the polls. This is the only way they could do it.’”

New polling data from Fox News showed that Trump led Biden head-to-head in Michigan and Georgia and that in an expanded ballot that included Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Trump led in those two states as well as in Pennsylvania.
