Democrats think the courtroom holds their best chance to keep Donald Trump out of the White House.
That means the election is going all the way to the Supreme Court.
And Clarence Thomas is about to face this 2024 nightmare scenario.

Democrats embraced a tactic that threatened to end the American experiment in democracy by allowing their judges and bureaucrats to kick Donald Trump off the ballot at will.
Liberals on the Colorado State Supreme Court and Maine’s Democrat Secretary of State Shenna Bellows banned Trump from the primary ballot by simply deciding on their own – and without any charges or due process – that Trump led an insurrection on January 6 and thus was banned from holding office under Section 3 of the 14th Amendment.
This so-called “legal theory” falls apart as Section 5 mandates Congress enforce all articles in the 14th Amendment and Congress passed a law stating a conviction on the charge of insurrection is necessary to ban someone from holding office under Section 3.
The Supreme Court agreed to fast track Donald Trump’s appeal of the Colorado decision and oral arguments are set for early February.
While the law and the facts are on Donald Trump’s side, those obstacles never stopped Democrats from prevailing at the Supreme Court before.
Trump predicted to a crowd of his supporters in Iowa that the media would begin smearing the justices and liberal militias would terrorize them at their homes – as they did following the leak of the opinion overturning Roe v. Wade – in an effort to bully the justices into upholding the ban on Trump appearing on the ballot.
“And they’re saying, ‘Oh, Trump owns the Supreme Court, he owns it. He owns it. If they make a decision for him, it will be terrible. It’ll ruin their reputations. He owns the Supreme Court. He put on three judges. He owns the Supreme Court. If they rule in his favor, it will be horrible for them. And we’ll protest at their houses. And we’ll do all of the things that you see,’” Trump declared.
Trump then warned that Democrats succeeding in this case would be the end of democracy as it would empower Democrats to ban any Republican from appearing on the ballot at any time.
“And I just hope we get fair treatment. Uh, because if we don’t, our country’s in big, big trouble. Does everybody understand what I’m saying? I think so, because they’ll cover that completely differently. They’ll cover that in a much different manner. But I’m just saying it’s a very unfair situation that takes place,” Trump concluded.
Joe Biden and the Democrats contend the fate of American democracy is on the ballot this November.
Trump cautioned that if Democrats succeed in allowing partisan state judges and bureaucrats to decide who can run for office then Americans having the right to pick their own leaders goes out the window.
