Former Vice Presidents Dick Cheney and Mike Pence have something in common.
Both are anti-Trump.
And Donald Trump will hate what Dick Cheney whispered to Mike Pence.
As West Wing Daily reports:
President Trump broke with Mike Pence for good when Pence sided with Joe Biden after Trump challenged the results of the 2020 election.
Pence’s choice exiled him from MAGA and planted him firmly in the camp of anti-Trump RINOs.
But one person was thrilled with Pence on January 6.
And that was Dick Cheney.
Pence attended Cheney’s funeral with the rest of the avatars of the swamp – the Bush, Obama, and Clinton families – and bragged to MSNOW, formerly MSNBC, that Cheney assured him that “you did the right thing” on January 6.
“When it came to Vice President Cheney, we were here for a funeral not long ago, and he leaned over next to me and just said to me in his usual terse manner, said: ‘You did the right thing,’” Pence stated.
Pence also praised Cheney’s legacy from his time in office.
“And I think this nation will remember him as an extraordinary public servant who contributed mightily to the life of the nation and to the principles I hold dear,” Pence added.
IN reality, Cheney helped create he conditions for Barack Obama’s 2008 takeover.
The Iraq War, which Cheney championed, ended in defeat with 5,000 Americans dying because Cheney falsely claimed Iraq possessed weapons of mass destruction and that America would export democracy to the Middle East.
Wall Street’s meltdown led to the TARP bailout, which saved the banks but left Americans losing their homes.
And Cheney also supported President Bush’s push for amnesty for illegal aliens.
Republicans rejected Cheney’s RINO globalism by picking Donald Trump over Bush-Cheney heir Jeb Bush in the 2016 Republican Party Presidential primary.
Pence and Cheney’s efforts to sabotage Donald Trump extended beyond January 6.
Both former Republican Party Vice Presidents hoped Kamala Harris would win the 2024 election.
Pence refused to vote for Trump, smearing Trump as a threat to democracy over January 6 and a Putin apologist because he wanted to end the war in Ukraine.
“That being said, during my presidential campaign, I made it clear there were profound differences between President Trump and me on a range of issues, not just our differences on my constitutional duties that I exercised on Jan. 6,” Pence stated.
Chenet went even further by endorsing Kamala Harris, falsely claiming that Trump tried to steal the 2020 election.
“In our nation’s 248-year history, there has never been an individual who is a greater threat to our republic than Donald Trump,” Cheney ranted. “He tried to steal the last election using lies and violence to keep himself in power after the voters had rejected him. He can never be trusted with power again.”
“As citizens, we each have a duty to put country above partisanship to defend our Constitution. That is why I will be casting my vote for Vice President Kamala Harris,” he added.
At Dick Cheney’s funeral, the establishment didn’t mourn just Cheney’s passing.
It also mourned its failure to stop President Trump.
