Bill Maher Says He Hopes America Wins the Iran War

Liberal comedian Bill Maher didn’t vote for President Trump.

But that didn’t stop Maher from calling it as he saw it.

And Bill Maher made one jaw-dropping Trump confession. The left is losing its mind.

The Kennedy Center will honor Bill Maher with its Mark Twain Prize for American Humor this June.

Liberal entertainers are boycotting the Kennedy Center over President Trump putting his name on the building.

Maher isn’t joining that woke mob.

In a monologue on his Real Time show, Maher said he was honored to attend the event but that Trump should be there too.

“I am honored to accept the Mark Twain Award. Thank you very much. And I will… I will be there, Don, and I hope you will be, too,” Maher began.

“I mean, the place is named after you now. You really should show up,” Maher added.

Maher joked that Trump should show up to say “thank you” to Maher in person for being one of the few liberals in America who supported President Trump’s decision to go to war with Iran.

“You could show up, you could thank me in person for being one of the few people on the lunatic left who’s glad you hit Iran and is hoping we win that one, OK?” Maher quipped.

Maher then poked fun at Trump for setting a deadline for Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz or else the American military would obliterate their energy infrastructure, only to postpone the deadline for five more days to allow room for negotiations.

“But Trump gave an absolute deadline today about the Strait of Hormuz. He said, you either open that or else, and Iran picked else,” Maher snarked.

“Oh. Ha ha. And then he extended the deadline to April 6. And then, he said, OK, OK. If you don’t do it, we’re going to blow up your electrical grid. And then they didn’t move on to that. And so he extended that to April 17,” Maher added.

Bill Maher is a liberal atheist.

But Maher has always been a vocal critic of Radical Islam as a unique threat because it is a political ideology of conquest and repression.

Maher supported Trump bombing Iran’s nuclear facilities last June because Maher believed the idea of the Iranian Mullahs coming into possession of a nuclear weapon was intolerable.

And Maher supports this current war with Iran because he thinks it’s necessary to finish the job, even while he cracks jokes at Trump’s conduct of the war.
