Ilhan Omar crossed a line that could be the point of no return.
This was the move many Americans were waiting for.
And Ilhan Omar just heard four words on a podcast that will end her congressional career.
As Swamp Digest reports:
Florida Congressman Randy Fine told podcaster Benny Johnson that he was preparing to introduce a resolution to expel Omar from Congress.
Fine explained that Omar has a “problem on so many levels.”
The first issue Fine cited was Omar’s “Somali loyalty,” referring to a 2024 speech she delivered to a Somali audience in Minnesota, in which she declared that her priority in Congress was representing the interests of Somalia and the Somali people.
“We are people of brotherhood, people of blood, people who know themselves to be Somalis, to be Muslims … We are a gifted set of individuals with a patriotic spirit that acknowledges our homeland and strives to protect it,” a translation of Omar’s remarks provided by the Heritage Foundation’s Mike Gonzalez stated.
“While I am in Congress, no one will take Somalia’s sea,” Omar went on to say, according to the translation.
The second scandal Fine listed was Omar’s alleged “immigration fraud.”
Allegations that Omar married her brother in a scam so he could obtain citizenship dogged Omar since she first ran for Congress in 2018.
Federal prosecutors ran up nearly 60 convictions against Somali migrants for running a $9 billion scam to loot a Medicare meals program supported by Omar.
Journalist Nick Shirley then exposed $110,000,000 in fraudulent taxpayer-funded childcare programs run by Somali migrants in Minneapolis.
Fine said the supermajority of Somalis come to the United States to leech off taxpayers, and Fine claimed Omar was involved in these scams.
“80% of Somalis who have come to the United States continue to be on our welfare programs. And it appears Ilhan Omar is tied up to her neck in all of that,” Fine stated.
Fine said he was “waiting” for investigations to conclude into Omar’s alleged welfare and immigration fraud before taking the final “step to expel her from Congress.”
This isn’t the first call Omar’s faced to expel Omar from Congress and deport her from the United States.
President Trump recently delivered a speech where he called on his administration to denaturalize and deport Omar, since Trump argued she hated America and didn’t appreciate the country that took her in as a child.
“She comes here from Somalia, and she tells us how to run the United States of America,” Trump declared. “She says, ‘The Constitution gives me certain rights. And I demand that I be given these rights.’ Get the hell out — what a phony.”
